Goodness gracious people don't know what they are doing when they are comparing Sachin Tendulkar to God.It was really appalling to see Tendulkar making no attempt to save the no.10 and 11 in front of Steyn and Morkel on 5th of the first test.Certain commentators including Mr. Ravi Shastri have defended him saying he could't have batted out 90 overs or saved the tail for so long. But it could have saved India from a shameful innings defeat, imagine if the same thing was done by VVS Laxman few months back when India were tottering at 125/8 chasing 215 runs against the Aussies. Also the weather was always suspect and apart from day 2 none of the days could have the full quota of overs bold. There were always chances of "divine intervention" saving the Indians.Mr.Sunil Gavaskar was commentating few years back in a similar situation and he really gave a mouthful to the Indian middle order batsmen then(probably Ganguly).Former Aussie test captains have always stood firm on their stand by saying that Sachin is not the greatest because his stuff does't help the teams match winning cause(or match saving). You cannot give"BHARAT RATNA" to a man who holds personal performance and stats above team's cause.Just for the sake of remaing "not out" and enhancing his average does't speak well on part of the man of his calibre.Post match press confrence saw Graeme Smith also voicing similar opinion when he told that he was surprised at Tendulkar's "submission".Mr.Arun Lal also was quiet surprised by all this.Although his innings stood out, people keep on forgetting that its a team game after all and stats will just remain stats.Stats take a back seat when you speak about Laxman and Yuvraj(odi's only) cause they deliever when chips are down and have plyed match winning knocks. Our media also remained muted on all this.Media should show the complete picture even if its not that rosy.
Hope Sachin would't repeat such sort of things in future and keep on fighting as they say "until the fat lady sings"

WHAT THE HECK IS GOIN ON!
The way the things are panning out in the politics of karnataka,it seems politicians are bent on doing things which bring more shame to their already defamed profession, if i may say so.Frankly speaking i don't have a clue what is goin on in there.what i see on television are a bunch of fools making a joke of themselves.this further proves how lame the indirect democratic system is.i know direct democracy is very difficult to achieve in a country like ours but then what has this system given us,few goons dancing on head of commeners like us.for every thing the judiciary has to roped in like the indian army for any disaster,i don't have a problem with democracy but this system needs a revamp.i don't possess the requisite intellect to propse the solutions but i feel there must be a way out.

cut the crap out mr home minister
Just about a week back i was watching mr.chidambaram on cnbc tv 18 in an interview with shirin bhan..the things got to the kashmir issue..mr home minister told "we must remember that kashmir was annexed to india under special circumstances.."what does he mean by this should we give it to pakistan(read it as gift)..then these politicians don't even mind decimating the confidence of armed forces even if this means appeasement of the people in kashmir..why people in kashmir are special?why does't anybody lay down their lives from other states..i come frequently in contact with 2 states m.p and maharashtra..far away from border still people join the army and still lay down their lives..and if this was not enough they astonishingly support removal of armed forces special powers act..so that some powers which armed forces have may be taken away from them so they become scape goats of the liberal and democratic(read it as week and lame)ways of govt. come on give me a break..ya mr.H.M you say nobody is lining up fr the post of H.M.. so should people do that and then only will you take stringent steps..i m sure if this govt keeps coming in power..they will loose the j&k in the name of sanity..keep up the gr8 work..and let people die in naxal infested area..keep sending 3 month trained boys to fight them instead of army..make my country a submisive state in front of the world..come on guys we must applaud their efforts!(plz dont even think of it!)

Why is Ramdev Baba Critisized By English Print Media
It is not surprising when somebody having deep faith in hinduism suffers from being tagged as "non-secular".Our english print media who although themselves are pseudo secularists will discourage anybody who has any connection to the saffron colour. When Ramdev Baba wants to encroach the dirt of politics, instead of showering praises on him these people portray him as a extremist who has done some crime by following hinduism with deep faith. He clearly says he has no interest in tagging India as "Hindu Nation" and for him anybody who has love for the nation is same,is he wrong?Nothing more can be expected from this section of the media who find it obvious calling Biharis as outsiders in Mumbai, and take pride in making breaking news of what people like Raj Thackeray have to say.It is shameful and it is about time they pull up their socks and do what is suppose to be done without prefixed notions.

APPALING... Dr.Manmohan Singh
It is extremely painful for me to hear about our P.M talking about giving Kashmir " swayatta".This not only breaks the morale of our armed forces but has the cascading effects on our youth which as such are reluctant to join the armed forces. This policy of appeasement does no go down well with me.I think our P.M is a good human being but a weak leader, here no need to mention who calls the real shots within the INC.
